The Howl Of The Nightingale Poem by Robert Miller

The Howl Of The Nightingale

i looked at you, the halo faded
the day was over, the night began
we kissed, and then we parted
we were alone, and we were lying...

this love was caught in darkness
not easy to bring it back again
we kissed, and then we parted
we were alone, and we were dying...

i couldn't believe this was real
it felt so great to reach my goals
we kissed, and then we parted
i was alone, and i was crying...
