The Humble Sewing Machine
millions earn their daily bread and butter
stitching clothes outside shop shutters
for kids, men and women
dresses by the dozens
job is decent, but there is much clutter
at home many work with own machines
stitching dresses to their own designs
a hobby that satisfies
artistic urge that defies
this invention, like a star in sky, shines
