Yes, if the immigrants belong to the same race, tribes and religions who had migrated to these countries many decades ago, so the ruling parties try to garner votes, in certain countries these illegal immigrants have become the citizens, in particular the more privileged people as the natives.. Any way what is wrong in migrating, when the birds are doing it freely?
