The Innocent People Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Innocent People

Rating: 5.0

We love innocent people
As they always try to avoid trouble
Speak no ill word
And always find safe work

They are not weak
But their minds can not speak
Clearly in favor or against
As it is not their interest

They want no enemy
Always pray for well being to almighty
Keep good relation with all
And rush to the aid if made call

Such people are harassed
They are made to confess
For the crime they have not committed
May be later they are acquitted

They suffer a lot
As they never prefer to offer fight
They want quiet and peaceful atmosphere
The bitterness in relation cause them fear

Such people should be given proper treatment
Not harassed simply with sarcastically comments
They are socially respected persons
They should be made comfortable with various reasons

Okay Alena Leonova4 minutes ago It's a good start, and obviously you have a clear message and purpose here. I don't really specialize in social issue poems, so I may be really off my mark here, but I felt you didn't evoke many strong emotions & perhaps you could use some more figures of speech here.
