(for James Koehnline's collage titled 'Panspermia')
... ... ... ... ... ... ...
The incubation chamber was more far flung than any of us could have thunk...
a spiral galaxy is the final retort for its decantating...
a swirl of planetary colors dye it like a marbleized Easter egg...
the gaussian belt haloes it in Van Halen lightning...
the inoculum arrives complete with its own morphic resonance...
things will never be the same at the site of Pan's pan-entheogenic landfall:
what was once a backwater is now a hub...
don't be a Johnny-come-lately when the macro-micro-cosmic crystallization
stakes out the fractal nodes of its combinatorial genesis...
or else before you know it the wave-crest of autopoesis
will run by you and leave you hanging on its kite tails.
