The Journey Of Poetry - Ii Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

The Journey Of Poetry - Ii

Rating: 5.0

Afraid of perfection, a poet
Shuddered excellence's gifted gate,
And shunned its long journey
Of endless miles many,
No wonder, modest was his pen's fate.

Forget perfection in poetry, a friend of mine looked for glitches in grammar. But perfection is pursuit of excellence. Search of perfection is only a journey that is endless long. Besides, grammar only follows the usage, or else becomes pedantry. It also changes with the usage.
