The King And The Boy Poem by Prem Nizar Hameed

The King And The Boy

The complacent king
Moves on the road without dress
The boy then reacts:
"Oh king, your invisible
Dress has a visible crease"

To his sycophants
King orders to find the crease;
Flattery falls flat,
They declare: "king is naked"
Politricks takes a new turn

(Syllables: 5-7-5-7-7 (2 segments)
