The King's Ring (Poem #1213) Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The King's Ring (Poem #1213)

The king's ring is a worm so small,
It's raven black in color.
Its legs are golden yellow and all-
It curls around when in terror.

The king's ring never harms any-
It feeds on bits of plant and stuff,
In placid existence, it shows me
That a simple life is enough.
