Superb hunter on snow and ice
Roaming frozen seas
The Polar bear prowls its domain.

Hibernating hidden under snow
Sleeping through the winter
Mother bears giving birth.

Emerging with cubs
Teaching them to survive
Wandering the harshest terrain on earth.

Hunting over freezing landscape
Seeking prey, mostly seals
Sleepily basking beside ice holes.

Humanity the greatest enemy
With unbridled global warming
Melting the kingdom of the polar bear.
