The Lake House Poem by Tracey Owens

The Lake House

Rating: 3.5

As I step out on the porch,
The air rushes around me.
I fee the coolness of it
As it passes on by.
The moon is high up
In the night sky.
The water crashes against
The dock as a passing
Boat comes by.
The house is still,
Not a sole is moving around.
I walk out on the water to
Admire it's true beauty.
The moon cast a reflection
Off the water.
This night is truely a sight.
The lake house has it's
Own unique beauty.
