The Language of Poetry
What is the language of poetry?
I have been searching for ages—
Be it Hindi, English, Persian, or Japanese,
There is no specific language of poetry.

Emotions are the only language
Through which poetry is written;
The waves rising from the heart
Sing the rhythm of the poem.

Poetry is neither a mere desire
Nor an act of helplessness;
Poetry arises in the heart
When pain becomes unbearable,
Or when, from the clouds of joy,
Tears flow from the heart.
