The Last Eagle Poem by Darwin Henry Beuning

The Last Eagle

Boy Scouts of America
Troop 954 - Court of Honor
Kaysville Central Stake
28 December 2019

Young scouts, old scouts, and family members
Gather together one last time.
To celebrate with one
Who has reached the ultimate goal -
Being awarded the rank of Eagle.

Clint W. Sanders, age 13,
This is his special day.

Scouts post the Colors,
Followed by a prayer.
Ceremony officiated by
LaMar Nybo.

Parents, family, and friends,
Celebrate

A fine photo. I used to be in scouts as a boy. Loved it.

Pictured left to right: Chet Sanders, proud dad; Jesse Dredge, Troop Committee Chairman; Clint Sanders, Eagle Scout; Hank Beuning, Committee Member. It was an honor for me to be part of the Scouting Program.

Thirteen years old is quite young to attain the rank of Eagle Scout. Congratulations to him! Also, congratulations to you, Hank, for your volunteer work with the Boy Scouts in the local LDS unit, though you are not LDS.

Kim, Yes, I enjoyed the time I spent with the scouts, it was great being back in uniform again.
