The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 16 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 16

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 16

Aging twenty-one Lamb is lost searching for the lonely shepherd
Teachers schoolmates friends all discovering existentialism
Wolfe has gone out of her mind searching for yet another prodigal son
Lamb becomes depressed crying about her fate almost going insane
In desperation I reach in the depths of my being...Wolfe's gone
I howl tears flooding face and pillow...I discover steppenwolf
Lamb has now become one with steppenwolf and my muse Hesse
Hesse's spirit posesses me and Siddharta envelops us
John Lennon and The Beatles have superseded The Christ Within
God looks on...observing His creation transcending time and space...

Days turn into weeks...
And weeks into months...
And months into years...
