The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 21 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 21

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 21

Escaping from the darkness temporarily Lamb searches thru The Light
Lucifer around every corner hauntingly reminding me of my sins
Lamb searches within the depths of my soul only to find excruciating pain
Lucifer laughs and sends me images of Wolfe being brutally tortured
Rage fills my every fiber and Lamb embarks on a long dark lonely journey
Cautiously land mines everywhere and around the bend...hounds of Hell
Hesse dispatches Siddharta as Lamb sits silently contemplating my fate
Lamb openly receives Siddharta in my mind filling every cell with Healing Light
Shepherd forwards his staff guiding me directing me transporting me to safety
Jesus looks on in admiration smiling laughing keeping me from further harm

Days turn into weeks...
And weeks into months...
And months into years...
