The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 22 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 22

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 22

Lucifer has lost yet another round and vows to blacken Lamb with the fires of Hell
He fills my heart and soul with guilt shame anger sorrow deceit and misery
Lamb very weak now sinks into deep depression and falls into an abyss of sin
Shepherd looks on sheepishly Hesse eyes wolfishly Jesus forging resurrection
In a sinister plan Satan gives birth once again to Wolfe and raises her from Hell
Ecstatically embracing her Lamb fights off my depression and is resuscitated
Lamb and Wolfe are reunited but I instinctively sense that something is amiss
I look deep into her eyes and cannot see or feel her unconditional love
For a split second Wolfe looks away and is caught in her deceitful ways
Lamb detecting the evil incarnate pretends not to notice and plays the game

Days turn into weeks...
And weeks into months...
And months into years...
