The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 28 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 28

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 28

Just past quarter of a century
Much of the lows have subsided
The highs take me on a gutsy trip
Thirty days of Kerouac's road
(Whom then I had no knowledge of)
Best friend and another tripping
From Toronto to Vancouver
From New York to San Francisco
All the way down to Mexico

Days turn into weeks...
And weeks into months...
And months into years...
