The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 9 Poem by Richard Wlodarski

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 9

The Late Bloomer Baby Boomer - 9

Grading twelve aging seventeen Shiffman shifts my perspective
New breed of teacher far ahead of her time loving teaching
Music taking on a new dimension as she plays Simon and Garfunkel
Listening to The Sounds of Silence within I search for meaning
Every note every word of their sound creation resonating within
She has captured my attention and will soon be one of my mentors

Days turn into weeks...
And weeks into months...
And months into years...
