The Laws Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

The Laws

If you are given asylum by any country
Thank god to powerful Lord or almighty
You life is saved and given an opportunity
You can lead fresh life with personal capacity

When you are immigrant in foreign land
Show he attitude and inclination as friend
Try to mix with local people and love ground
Not with local people or country that is more found

One tendency must be developed
Be loyal and royal to country who gave shelter and food!
If you had love the your country
Why did you leave it if had affinity?

"To demand or wait" is not done
Those earlier days have gone
Now it is gold boldly
The offer is either accepted or turned down coldly

It Is good and healthy to remain in imagery world
You are the master and nothing remains to be told
You may question and answer the way you like
There is no "no" to anything and fight

Dennis John Ferado Hasmukh: The only difference between now and the earlier days is that today it is done through the law and they are a people we have nearly wiped off the face of the earth. If more people spoke up for them and the many injustices the Native Americans have lived through, maybe it could help the healing process and offer a bit of justice for them. 1 hr · Edited · Unlike · 1
