This is really the beautiful winter poem ever liked.
Oh, how I share the love of winter. It's such a time of peace, a time of solitary to get lost inside of. I only wish that winter visited us more often... Beautiful poetry...
Although I dislike winter it was a beautiful poem Dee. I feel already better when I can feel the warm breeze and smell the good and sweet odorous scent of baby spring. :) Very well written dear! ~JD~
You have very good rhythm, with small exceptions. Possibly you could avoid repeating words and search for rhymes longer rather than take the closest one like place and replaced.... But what are you worried about? You have talent and all you need now is to get into a harmonic frame of mind and write positive stuff. I am sure you would be very good at it. As you need to write from the heart your life must be good first to write uplifting poems, although sad ones are okay but it is terrible to witness such profound sadness caused by others inflicting pain. Hope to read much more from you soon. Best wishes, Herbert
It is by far the best poem that I have read in which the glamour of different seasons comes alive. I liked the poem in its entirety. However, the following lines are a fine specimen. Thanks: As Winter's gift is gently falling /Upon the trees that soundly sleep..../ The miracle the season brings.
