The Light Poem by Barry Middleton

The Light

Rating: 5.0

the sun draws from the sea
a golden alchemy

amethysts and rubies
are scattered in the sky

slate and silver canyons
can hear the lullaby

and soon the moon will rise
in silk of indigo

the mood is blue as love
and tears from long ago

but light returns at dawn
with sunrise memory

a golden alchemy
the sun draws from the sea

Golden alchemy is drawn from sea while sun draws light inside sun's view. Moon rises with mood of love and peace. This is definitely very interesting poem well penned...10
