The Maker's Creation Poem by Billy Loving

The Maker's Creation

Blast from the elephant's trunk
Emerald green eyes of the cat
Stinky spray defining the skunk
Protruding teeth, grinning rat

Paddle shaped beaver's tail
Milky white pearl within the clam
Water spewing from the whale
Dirty coarse wool of the lamb

Mole tunneling below
Rooster crowing at dawn
Tan, brown skinned doe
Lion's playful yawn

Maker's wondrous works abound
All as easy as can be
Every color, every shape, every sound
Complexities, unfathomable to me
