The Meantime Poem by Holly Jamestone

The Meantime

You may be feeling out of sorts
You may be gently grieving
You may be feeling all alone
You may not be receiving

The special message here for you
The special heart you hold
The special you from head to toe
The special tale untold

A tale of women and their strength
A tale of total hope
A tale that's not a tale at all
A tale to help you cope

You've found the key inside of you
You've found the power of love
You've found it unconditionally
You've found it from above

I'll tell you what you've said to me
I'll tell you what's in store
I'll tell you that the best awaits
I'll tell you there is more

There's more than what you've known thus far
There's more that you've not heard
There's more love than conceivable
There's more than just my word

There's comfort from a stable love
There's comfort for your pain
There's comfort and consistency
There's comfort through the rain

Open arms will welcome you
Open arms will show
Open arms of lasting love
Open arms you'll know

A love you'll only know when here
A love you'll see as real
A love that's everlasting, pure
A love no heart can steal

I hope that in the meantime
I hope you know I care
I hope you will reach out to me
I hope you'll let me share

To share all that's within you
To share all that you need
To share your introspection
To share as you are freed
