The Mothers Always Die Poem by D.N. Rebb

The Mothers Always Die

Rating: 5.0

Growing up with Brothers Grimm
Fear was the tool to manipulate
Nothing worse for child to dim
The loss of its mother's life at stake

Walt continued in their ways
Check out most Disney's animations
Snow White, Cinderella ached
Bambi's or Mowgli's situation

Dumbo and Pinocchio
To acknowledge just a couple more
Dearest mother they had known
Lost like a fine soldier in cruel war

The list goes on, look it up
Not sure why respective dads can't die
Having drinks at the old club
Absence had already been implied

And hence, the evil stepmom
Malign, wicket character indeed
First signs up, then causes harm
A bold plan up her sleeve is revealed

So, salute to all mothers
We'd be helpless creatures without you
With your warm hugs that smother
I think the Brothers Grimm knew
