The New Doctor Livingstone Poem by Giampiero Neri

The New Doctor Livingstone

Rating: 5.0

Meanwhile, try doing something else.
Leave a blank margin in your diary.
Night walker in the city,
a letter has been sent in your name;
a correspondence you believed broken off
returns with mysterious tie-ups;
consider your fidelity to the past.
From this point of view
a shared experience makes its way,
we saunter through Rome,
an extraordinary, most ancient city in the frame.

Another poem by G. Neri from the collection ''L’aspetto occidentale del vestito'' (Italian text) : 3. *

Reliving beautiful nostalgic experience, well articulated and nicely brought forth from the heart. Thanks for sharing Neri.
