The Night Has Its Own Beauty (Chol Ha-Moed Yerushalayim 5778

Rating: 5.0

The night has its own beauty
And walking though it this night
Of Chol -ha- Moed in Yerushalayim
Has its own special freedom and peace
The fear of darkness and its threat
Is somehow not with me
I walk and the spaces open before me
And the city lights
Help me believe
That out there somewhere in the distance
There is still adventure and new hope
In this home I have lived in and loved
So many long years

Beauty of night very often we feel. Fear of darkness does threat but still there is adventure. With hope we walk at night and feel beauty of light of stars and moon. An interesting poem is very beautifully presented with great imagery.10
