He stands there
Next to my bed
It was just yesterday
When I last saw him,
Inside his ivory Coffin:
Alone, young, and dead.
How can he deceive me?
With his charming smiles,
And his out of this world laughter
I look at him with calmness
Like a serene lake on early summer.
Now, he stands before me
His eyes glaring,
His lips, chapped and pale
I failed to see his suffering;
Doesn't everyone suffer?
Truly, this world is cruel
Cruel enough to take my love.
If only I could meet death
Then I could bring him back
This time, with both of my eyes wide open
Wide enough to see his melancholic soul
I would say to him: Let me hear your cries
For I will cry with you
But it's too late now
For the night is young
And he is dead.
Still, standing in front of me
He speak: Soon I will be forgotten
But you my love, Do not forget me
For I want to stay in your memories
Let us waltz in your dreams
With the music of swans
Let us walk,
holding hands
Above the green grass
Near my grave yard
Under the moonless sky
Where the night is young
And I am dead.

I see this as very sad. Excellent poem, but it doesn't tell me the reason for the sadness..
