The Noir Poem by Unnikrishnan Sivasankara Menon

The Noir

Rating: 5.0

The fisherman released
the ifrit from pitcher,
the Jin came back at him
with a sabre sharp,
a thousand limbs slashed.

the man-eaters of Tel Aviv
such a noir did they weave
a ruse to grab the lands
and lives of hapless millions;

twenty five thousand
and still counting,
but the ifrit
does not fret.

Notes:

A top diplomat of European Union, Josep Borrell has said, based on historical evidences that the Palestinian militant outfit Hamas was created and financed by Israel. He has reiterated that Hamas was financed by Israeli government with a clear intention and mandate to weaken and destroy the Palestinian Authority of Fatah.

Hamas was formed in December 1987, after the start of the first Palestinian Intifada in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel by Islamists who claimed that they were from Muslim Brotherhood. There were reports in India and elsewhere then that Israel's intelligence agency Mossad was behind its formation and was continually funding and arming its activities. Its brief was to eliminate the Palestinian Liberation Organisation led by Yasser Arafat. When PLO accepted the right of Israel to exist as a free state, it became handy for Mossad, albeit clandestinely through Hamas, to ignite the the anti-semitist emotions of the Muslim genera against it.

Now, this snake is spewing its venom against the terrorist outfit named Israel. Nature's way of doling out Justice, naturally! And the terrorist outfit feigning as a nation (tofn) finds it handy again. It uses the attack by Hamas on its people to annihilate all the people of Palestine. And uncle sam, who waxes eloquent about liberty doesn't simply look on, but supplies the tofn with arms, ammunition and dollars. uncle sam and EU overtly support a 'two-nation solution', but object every move in the UN against the tofn.

An ardent amazing poem about Politics, Unnikrishnan, I love your descriptive poem, but I do not like politics, yet your grand poem attrects me to give my responses. My parents constantly avoid politics in Indonesia, where I was born

Man-eaters- refer to tens of thousands of Palestinian Muslim women and children killed in brutal attacks of israel's military. If not man-eaters, what are they?

Humans are very intelligent to do whatever they wish under the name and style of 'Country/ Religion/Caste/Creed and Society' and get away by fooling innocents...are'nt they? ? ?

This is another way to redeem your self esteem, looking back at history one will never hold Hitler wrong, he must have seen some ploy or foul play otherwise No one can hate/ nuture hate against a community like he (Hitler) did but whatever...Humanity was put to shame by him and now it continues.
