The Non-Ending Game Poem by Sandra Feldman

The Non-Ending Game

Rating: 5.0

All good actors
Are in truth, 'good politicians'
For they're able,
To make you believe
What isn't true, is true,
Who they are, but aren't,
Believe you me,
Playing an eternal game of
'I can fool you constantly',
For centuries such trickery,
As far back, as we can see.

This world is made
Of fools like you and I,
But only crooks can get to put
Mud in your eye,
The game of politics, a trap,
They are the liars,
We, the saps.
And that concludes our silly game,
The more we think it changes,
The more it stays the same
