The Noontime Task Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

The Noontime Task

F-lame in red up high
E-rases the darkest night;
L-etting the sunlight ascend,
J-oining the lane so bright.
U-nderneath the blue sky, lonely twilight is gone;
N-ovember twenty-sixth morn shows the break of dawn.

R-ays from up above
A-re burning with fire;
M-aking you feel so fine
I-s the beacon's desire.
R-adiant and glowing gleams
E-liminate the saddest dusk;
Z-enith awaits the glints to do the noontime task.
