The Nude Beach Poem by Juan Olivarez

The Nude Beach

There are some fine looking women here,
And they're sporting Texas Tans.
In their birthday suits showing no fear,
I feel I'm in a foreign land.

Why couldn't they have have stayed away,
Or moved farther up the beach?
This is really terrible, I just can't stay,
I only showed up to fish.

Oh my lord look at that poor old man,
He looks like a sunset raisin.
He should be buried in the sand,
Everything's wrinkled, it's so brazen.

And his pride and joy has gone, and,
Disappeared somewhere inside.
Instead of lying in the sand,
He should go somewhere and hide.

But the girls are nice, I must admit,
I wish that I could stay.
But if I do, I'll throw a fit,
I must leave here without delay.
