The Pablo Picasso Of Poetry
He was the Pablo Picasso of poetry
With well over 10,000 wild and wondrous works.
He sailed on ethereal seas of deep blue dreams.
He composed odes about love, and whatever irked
Him, at a particular moment in time. He
Courted the absurd and often flirted
With the political and the trivial.
He read widely and he never, ever wasted
His precious time. He was a polymath. Indeed,
He could indulge in philosophy, Maths and Art
With equal pleasure. He let imagination breed
Many splendoured worlds. O he always followed his heart!
And now he's very happy and enjoying life.
He has found an oasis; far away from strife.
Brilliant Dominic absolutely brilliant. I know exactly who you are on about. A most brilliant and truly gifted poet who delivered such memorable and incredible works of poetry art. His pen just flowed and flowed enchantingly. How foolish of me to forget his magnum opus volume of delightful poetry work for all the world to see and read. I now know what I want for Christmas! Five worthy stars and thank you for reminding me about this wonderful man and poet. Take care.
