往事

白驹过隙，人生弹指匆匆过
绿水泛波，往事伤心缓缓流
悠奕浮萍，浪荡荷塘同沐雨
逍遥野鹤，云游桂殿共吟秋


The Past

Time passes quickly
like a white pony's shadow
across a crevice
life fillips
passes hurriedly

The green water ripples
the past in sadness
flows slowly

The elegant and beautiful duckweed
flutters in the lotus pool
bathing rain together

Unfettered wild cranes
visit the Laurel Palace
chant autumn together
