The Peace Of Trees - Poem by Sandra Feldman

The quiet cool,
Of the Forest Trees,
Cradles me softly,
With Emerald ease,
There is a calm,
A sweet refrain,
A certain song,
That seem to wane,
All vital pain.

The Peace of Trees,
Life giving, breeze,
Your calm is like,
A newborn psalm,
Life giving Green,
Leafy Arcade,
Of Life and Love,
All trees are made.

Trees, the great silent witnesses to history; marking that history, as well as their own, with mysterious internal rings.
Those of us who revere peace and beauty know trees- -and perhaps, they know us.
    Brilliant, Sandra!
