The Poet Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

In the dark and gloomy atmosphere,
The poet has lost his way,
He walks to find out his way,
Though he stumbles again and again,
Still he proceeds tirelessly with great spirit and enthusiasm.
The atmosphere becomes darker and darker,
In spite of it the poet does not give up hope,
He is firm and determined,
He gropes his way stubbornly,
Believing that he will surely get the right route.
Long time has elapsed,
But the poet does not stop,
Gradually the weather begins to improve,
Slowly but steadily the light appears,
The poet jumps in an ecstasy,
As he finds the true way now,
Eventually he safely reaches the harbour.
Yes he is my poet,
He is definitely my beloved poet,
I adore him so much.
