The Poor Devotees Poem by Rm. Shanmugam Chettiar

The Poor Devotees

Some I begged of; some I bribed; I came up.
Some I hired; some I paid; I have come big.
For all I get money from my devotees.
Godliness is holy to devotees, not to me.

As said many devotees beg, bribe, hire and pay to God to become big! Such holy Godliness is not for you.A very good characteristic which all should follow.
