The Power Of Prayer
There is a time when thoughts are put aside
In the midst of confusion…all hope has died
When all that was true turned out to be a lie
Who can you turn to…to whom can you confide?
In the emptiness of the moment the Lord is revealed
He is there to listen and help you to recover and heal
He can renew your strength even when it is concealed
When you place your trust in God… faith will be a shield
The power of an open prayer can bring change about
God’s love can guide you away from erosion and doubt
Burdens are lightened … fears and insecurity are cast out
He provides sustenance …where there once was drought
