The Present Moment Poem by james watkin

The Present Moment

'You hurt me; humiliate.
All that's disagreeable
Herein, encaged, know.
One among the many, most
Obliged to put on an act
Snarls to be 'on show' '.

Finding it impossible
To evade her keeper, for
Time, in the present
Expect, on new creature's wings
The Daydreamer's, to fly off!
Cloud-hid; but content.
