The Prince Of Darkness Poem by james watkin

The Prince Of Darkness

Creeping like a shadow
Leanings of the upright
Indebted to the Light
He maketh to flicker.

Darkly vivid sensed, draws
Out where lanes darken
Uncouthness of the den.
Uncleanness of burrows.

An evil unbeheld
'Cept in faces' alarms;
And in multiple harms
Howled of both man, beast.
