The Rain Poem by richy kar

The Rain

Rating: 5.0

'its raining! its raining'my mother cried inside.
i in excitement became glad and went outside.

i stood near the gate and smelled at a gaze,
and; it was at that time when the birds were at a race.

i felt the cool breeze of rain, the soothing fall of rain
i in excitment became happy and gay.

the clouds came hovering like kangaroos in the sky
and, made the streets of australia wet and dry

i watched the sky, the streets and trees, spires and towers
and, i in excitement went inside.

Oh! ! ! What an imagination! ! ! ! 'Clouds came hovering like kangaroos in the sky' My dear poet... i love this line in the poem. I am dreaming and imagining Kangaroos... melting and becoming a shower on earth. ooops.... You gave me today's grass to eat. Thank you.
