The Religion Poem by Laura arwen

The Religion

In the world
there are many
religions but all
have one God
Sometimes the religion
is a way
for the war
Sometimes the religion
is a way
for the politics
Sometimes it criticizes
the priest and
the faults
The religion sentences
the practices and
sometimes the law
The savior, the trial and
the pusher have in common
five things: the pity, the
religion, the pain, the
reason and the trust
The religion remembers
the sins of rich
Usually the religion
commits many crimes
because it doesn't accept
other cultures and
other religions
Maybe the religion
is a substitute of
the government cause
it would appear
in the televisions
of the world
The religion is
a personal belief
The religion is
an hard justice
Sometimes it is
a way of
the personal problems
Often it is
a horrible spectacle
The religion erases
the unconsciousness and
the dependence
Sometimes the religion
provokes some crimes
and it is tough
The religion corrupts
the killing attitude
cause is a
several thing
Sometimes Satan is
the religion

I am impressed with this poem! There are enough thesis statements here to write a dozen or more essays on the topic. Here is my list drawn from your poem: RELIGION AND THE DENIAL OF THE UNCONSCIOUS - RELIGION; A SUBSTITUE FOR GOVERMENT? - PERSONAL BELIEF VERSUS DOGMA IN RELIGION - RELIGION AND ITS HARD JUSTICE: WHAT HAPPENED TO MERCY? - PERSONAL PROBLEMS AS THE MOTIVE FOR RELIGION
