The Saddest World Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

The Saddest World

Rating: 5.0

I wander
In the vast arena
Of the pleasant nature
With spontaneous joy and pleasure,
The trees,
The mountains,
The rivers,
The seas....
All welcome me in their wonderful domain,
I see,
I smile,
I swing
In my own way
For a long long time,
How long?
I don't know,
But then.....
I listen an agonizing cry
With my sensitive ears
From the confined world,
It reminds me of the pain and anguish of the oppressed class,
Soon the coarse bell rings in the air,
I find myself in the darkest chasm
Of the saddest world.
