The Safety Hand. - Poem by Gangadharan nair Pulingat..
In a missing step the aged man fractured
A fall untimely a danger he felt
The pain he suffered, a lot with mind power
And in hospital bed under proper care
Where I visited in times of intervals
The aged man told the story
He passes the days with a companionship
And looks it in such happy mood always
Whenever he is in pain, the friend looks
And makes a song in praise of god, he said
Who the friend, I asked in respect
Where he showed in distance through window
There in the branch of a tree, it stood
A beautiful bird looking to the gentleman
And sings the song in beautiful voice
Peaceful mind, dear one, all will be cured
And you are in safety hands of the god.
