The Sea Refuses To Give Up All Drowned Souls Poem by Terence George Craddock

The Sea Refuses To Give Up All Drowned Souls

the sea across time since long antiquities past
has storms swallowed a few million sad ships
millions of fear drowning souls their lives
departing cried their copious fear salt tears
until all oceans across the world were bitter tears
salty the sea still shoulders her salt tears burdens
in storms sea water arms muscled reached out
cruelly grasped ill fated terror drowning souls

pulled drowning souls under into sea grave deaths
upon haunted siren rocky shorelines grey long salt
laden curling sea waves still vicious smash against
ship hungry teeth rocks in tide pools salt tear memories
of death dead souls still whisper while waves sweep in
tide comb gritty grey beach sand reminding millions

of souls are forever lost
in the depths of the sea
which refuses to give up
all her trophy soul dead
