The Search Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

The Search

Rating: 5.0

Under the summer sun
My eyes will seek you
The warmth of yr arms is
What I continue to look for
But the maze of them
I have become lost
Trying to break the chains the clouds made
My feet can't carry myself anymore
They are tired and swollen
I want to rest on a fluffy bed with you
However, the search won't let me
It has arrested me on a rainy day

Very compelling images that brilliantly depict blind love. Poignant yet beautiful poem.
