The self - proclaimed guardians of Truth and Beauty
Inform us about which cultural works are good
And which are not. They often appear on T.V
And speak in pretentious tones; little understood.
They preach away to us 'ignorant' philistines
Until the cows come home. They try to tell us why
The Emperor's latest clothes are simply sublime.
O how they deceive! Yet any curious child
Sees right through their stupid, yet wicked, lies and knows
That the Emperor is not wearing any clothes!

Dominic I simply ignore these people who love the sound of their own usually mundane, lacklustre weak chinned voices. If it was made mandatory, even then I wouldn't listen. This life is a learning curve what to quickly reject or gladly accept. People seem to follow the herd, I prefer to turn my back and close the gate then lock it. Your more than fine and realistic poem says it all. Five living in the now stars. Many thanks and take care my friend
