The Sexes Poem by Randy McClave

The Sexes

Spoke the puzzled student to his teacher,
When it comes to attention she is the main feature
And whenever in a relationship, she wants a preacher.

A woman always wants a man to wed
Whereas a man just wants to be kissed and fed,
Together they want to share the warmth of the very same bed
But, only the woman is satisfied until she is dead.

A man is always happier with another man
They can smoke and drink and eat whatever they can,
Farting and cursing and obscenity they will not ever ban
But, for sex and children a woman is in their plan.

A woman always seems to hate any other female
And she is always ready to cat fight both tooth and nail,
Lies and gossip about other women she enjoys to tell
Whereas a man gets along and is happy with most any male.

A man will go gray or bald with pride in all respects
Whereas women become blondes, redheads or brunettes,
A man tries or hopes to omit his past mistakes and regrets
While a woman never truly forgives, or ever forgets.

The teacher quickly replied to his curious male student
He said, "Be ever so wise and always be prudent",
"Towards conformation, or to the Devil don't ever be a pursuant"
"And remember sometimes it is best, when a man is truant
