The Snowman Poem by Ima Ryma

The Snowman

I am the snowman made by you.
You rolled me up in balls of snow,
Piled on each other and I grew.
My eyes and nose and mouth did show.
You borrowed your Dad's scarf and hat,
Put 'round my neck and on my head.
Where on me arms would have been at,
You stuck in some tree limbs instead.
Day after day you were with me,
And we became the best of friends.
Such happy times did come to be.
But comes the time cold weather ends.

All snow does melt in nature's way.
But in your heart is where I'll stay.
