The Sorrowful Shadow Poem by Daniel P Martin

The Sorrowful Shadow

Rating: 4.5

The sorrowful Shadow cast far from home,
Surrounded by people and yet all alone,
Consoled by her dreams of a distant shore,
The prospect of seeing that land once more.

The earth rotating, absorbing the sun,
But never to shine on our lonely one,
The Shadow is bound under threat of strife,
Obstructed by fate, and the shackles of life,

But hope springs eternal, or so they say,
Transalated; the Shadow will have her day,
And sever the ties, with freedom her goal,
Rising up out of the Shadow’s black hole.

To flee the darkness and bask in the sun,
To cross the oceans, pursued by none,
To land once more on that hallowed shore,
And there to remain, her soul to restore.

Right..it's deep meaning to you as i look the sound that written by..nice, Sorrowful shadow just a shadow...a shadow just follow nothing but the object it mimic, sorrowful shadow you see because sorrowful heart you beat...There's always a way to hide it, to keep u free from such shadow..A light will in front will creates shadow behind, if you have a light around so no shadow to bound...Daniel, maybe if you ask me where to find a light to be around you all time...i has no answer but the light exist when you start to believe...to dream...shadow is not always something sad, it moves like what the object acts.. ond day i would like to hear, you walk along with smiley shadow..good luck! _Unwritten Soul
