The Sound Of The Sea Poem by Benjamin Tetteh

The Sound Of The Sea

Rating: 4.5

Excellent without blemish
O! how great the sound of the sea
Like the many waters
Which fall from heaven
With calms and the slams
Just the roars I fear
Not with fears I near
To feel the sound I hear
The sound of the sea is near
Closer within myself
I see the waves with bubbles
Which run along in doubles
The sound of the sea is marvelous
When you sit ashore
To learn the sound at shore

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I wrote this poem one afternoon at the beach. The inspiration came from what I saw and heard. In fact I wish I had felt also.

A lovely train of thoughts, well encapsulated into a lovely poem to capture the awesome energy inherent in the waves of the seas. The beauty of poetry is in the articulation and penning. Kudos Benjamin!
