The Sparkle In Your Green Eyes Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

The Sparkle In Your Green Eyes

The sparkle in your green,
like morning dew on leaves,
a quiet moment before the sun fully rises.

It is not the light,
but the way it bends toward you,
drawn to the depths of your gaze.

In the silence between us,
the world feels slower,
a tender pause in the rush of time.

Your eyes are not simply green;
they are whispers of forests,
a history of storms calmed.

I look, and the edges of everything blur-
not lost,
but softened,
by you.
